Here are the web browsers that are compatible with our version of Blackboard Academic Suite. In addition, you can use these browsers to view your student email online.
IMPORTANT NOTE: While Firefox 2 is compatible with Blackboard and student email, we do not recommend that you upgrade to Firefox 3 when it is released (or attempt to use Firefox 3 Beta at the present time). Firefox 3 is not certified by Blackboard for use with our version of Blackboard Academic Suite. Users have reported problems using Firefox 3 Beta with Blackboard.
Windows Operating Systems
If you are using Windows 2000, the following web browsers are compatible:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
- Mozilla Firefox 1.0
If you are using Windows XP, the following web browsers are compatible:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
- Mozilla Firefox 1.0
If you have Vista Desktop, the following web browsers are compatible:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
- Mozilla Firefox 2.0
Mac Operating Systems:
If you have Mac Operating System 10.2, the following web browsers are compatible:
